Land Heart Project: A 501(c)(3) organization that is transporting supplies to the evacuation centers (gas money, auto maintenance for a variety of collaborators). Support quick, effective community education for use of water filters and other sustainable solutions. Help purchase and transport fresh produce from local farmers in Land Heart Project’s eco-agriculture network - who were also affected by the earthquakes - to feed evacuees. Protechos: A 501(c)(3) and Puerto Rico 1101.01 non-profit corporation founded with the dual mission of rebuilding damaged roofs in under-served communities throughout the island while providing residents with basic carpentry training, addressing both housing needs and the shortage of skilled construction workers in Puerto Rico. www.protechos.org

Project 4 Vida: Our mission is to create a resilient community through education about self sustainability and disaster preparedness. Partnering with the English Chapter of the American Legion, they are delivering supplies and fundraising to begin water testing along the southern region.

Helping Hands For Puerto Rico: A 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that partner's with both, the leaders of Puerto Rico and continental United States, in assisting Puerto Rico develop educational programs in agriculture, the arts, and entrepreneurship. Currently they are delivering supplies in the southern region, going community by community. They recently partnered with the #PRSocialMediaRelief Team

Haser Cambio: A 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that supports different initiatives in PR that are committed to creating a sustainable world in the Caribbean. Haser is the fiscal sponsor of Casa Pueblo, ARECMA, Inc. in Humacao, La Colmena, Tabonuco, Junte Gente.

Brigada Solidaria del Oeste: The Solidarity Brigade of the West is a self-managed community initiative comprised of individuals from various organizations, creative spaces, and social struggles. Currently they are participating in cultural and artistic initiatives to provide peace to refugees, distribute supplies to different camps depending on needs, coordinate medical brigades. Iniciativa Comunitaria: A 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that is currently coordinating medical brigades with psychologists, social workers and mental health professionals. They are also accepting donations and hand delivering them to family camps in the South. Their regular programs include support for addiction and substance abuse, prevention, HIV/AIDS, homelessness.

ND Community Service Corp: ND Community Service Corp.  facilitates education for healthier lifestyles through holistic, preventative and empowering medicine. PRxPR: PRxPR is a  private, non-partisan, no overhead fund, was purposefully created to help Puerto Rico in the aftermath of two deeply devastating and unprecedented hurricanes. Committed to investing 100% of donations amongst the most critically affected communities, the Fund’s short and long-term humanitarian goals focus on food/agriculture, clean water and fuel/renewable energy initiatives. After the recent seismic activity on the island, they are refocusing all of their efforts towards helping communities affected by the quakes.  All donations go directly to earthquake victims. No overhead or admin fees.

Instituto Universitario para el Desarrollo de las Comunidades: Looking for a structural engineer to inspect school. Supporting with collecting and distributing supplies to families impacted.

Iniciativa De Ecodesarrollo De Bahia De Jobos: Hosting organizing efforts and in their community center, El Coquí.

Cocina Rebelde: Collecting food and supplies at a center operating from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, also offering acupuncture to impacted communities.

Federación de Maestros de Puerto Rico: The offices of the federation of teachers will be serving this week of help collection center for earthquake victims in the south area of Puerto Rico. They are also urging government officials to postpone school openings until all structures are inspected and emergency plans are shared.

Paz Para la Mujer: Looking for structural engineers. 

Urbe Apie: Functioning as a community kitchen in collaboration with Centro de Apoyo de Caguas and collecting food and supplies for distribution.

Brigada de la 3era Edad: Collecting supplies to support elderly people impacted.

Together Puerto Rico: A 501(c)(3) organization that has been delivering deliver aid, water filters, and solar lights and are seeking further funding to continue to delivery these supplies.

Puerto Rock Steady: (PRS) is an annual multi-genre music, dance and arts festival in Isabela, Puerto Rico. The festival supports the Boys & Girls Club of Puerto Rico through volunteer work, specially-designed programs that empower children through mentoring, education and dance/wellness workshops, and through donations. Now in its seventh year, PRS continues to be committed to fostering economic development throughout Puerto Rico by generating tourism, increasing revenue for local businesses through partnered events, and raising awareness about how to sustainably rebuild and create sovereignty in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

Techos Pa’ Mi Gente: Techos Pa’ Mi Gente is focused on rebuilding roofs set to FEMA standards, and training others in carpentry and masonry. They are currently seeking donations to purchase tents, and asking the diaspora to send tents, but also to continue and expand their efforts to rebuild roofs and houses and continue to deliver supplies.

Copa Solidaria: Copa Solidaria is committed to bettering menstrual health by promoting safe and hygienic menstrual practices. They believe that every person that menstruates deserves the opportunity to manage their menstruation in a safe and hygienic manner, with privacy and dignity. By donating to Copa Solidaria, you can help them facilitate menstrual cups, pads, tampons and other necessary items for those affected by the earthquake. 

Waves Ahead PR: Isolation is a real struggle for many aging LGBTQ Puerto Ricans but at Waves Ahead we make sure they know they are not alone. Our mission is to make sure that every LGBTQ person and family in Puerto Rico lives with dignity and with all the love and support they need to reach their full potential at every age.

Campamento Contra Cenizas de Carbón. Peñuelas: Distributing supplies in isolated mountainous regions and nearby camps. Efforts are led by long-time organizers fighting against the depositing of coal ash into the islands’ water supply. Organizers, themselves, lost or suffered damages to their home. Emotional, psychological and wellness support is requested. Tents, sleeping bags and solar lights are a necessity.

Colectiva Feminista en Construcción: They have been actively partnering with other organizations to collect and disperse essential supplies since Janurary 7th. EspicyNipples: Operating a collection and distribution center in Guayama and are looking for resources to prep natural medicine kits.

Ayuda Legal Puerto Rico: Activated its rapid response with educational resources and a hotline for legal support. Also organizing lawyers to host in-person workshops and provide one on one consultations.

El Hangar en Santurce: Collecting hygiene products, solar energy supplies and basic necessities. Also mapping community needs to mobilize work groups.

Sol es VIDA: Distributing meals, mobilizing supplies, and providing transportation for volunteers.  

Colectiva Feminista en Construcción: Delivering tents, water, and other essential supplies in Yauco.
